Presenting Author Information

Below is information regarding oral presentations at AIDT4ES.  

• Each talk will have a 24-minute time slot (Invited Plenary talks are 45 minutes). This time is to include your presentation and Q&A.

• There will be up to five 24-minute time slots in each technical session.

• You will be presenting from your own laptop. The connection for laptops is HDMI. If you need an adapter, you must bring your own. Please contact the session chair if you need a laptop.

• We strongly encourage you to have a backup of your presentation on a USB storage device in the event your laptop has a technical problem or is incompatible with the LCD projector.

• We strongly encourage you to test your laptop compatibility with the equipment provided by going to your presentation room during the breaks

• Please bring your own laser pointer.

• We ask that all presentations be ready at the beginning of the technical session.

• The default for the screen is 16:9.

• There is no specified template for this workshop.

Below is information regarding poster presentations at AIDT4ES.

• Your poster should be no larger than 36" x 48" and can be either portrait or landscape.

• There is no template or specified format for your poster.

• You are responsible for printing the poster ahead of the workshop.

• FedEx has an office located at 2711 Guadalupe St Austin, TX 78705 if you need to print your poster in Austin. This is a 16 minute walk from the workshop building.

• You may drop your posters off at the registration table upon check-in. Pins will be provided to hang your poster.

• Please be in front of your poster during the poster session to discuss your work and engage with attendees.
